One student may soon face expulsion for their high-school talent show performance if he plays even one note from the drum beat used for pornography website Pornhub’s community intro. Anyone familiar with watching its videos knows this distinctive jingle that plays just before its animated logo appears on screen – in a viral video, an elementary drummer got the crowd cheering when they played just a couple beats of this music during his performance at a rally!
TikTok users have since adopted this prank and played it to see if anyone recognizes it, even musical acts and animals joining in! Additionally, the trend has generated parodies featuring musicians or even animals joining in chiming on beat.
TikToker Khaleel Abdullah, 17, created an award-winning viral video this month on TikTok in which he pretended to visit Pornhub before switching the audio track to Childish Gambino’s “Redbone” from his album Awake in order to match up with its logo and sync up perfectly with its sound – this has since been seen over four million times and spawned its own subreddit!
As they do every year, Pornhub’s statistics team have been keeping an eye on its traffic and what drives searches for its content. So far this year has seen record visits already surpassing 42 billion and searches related to celebrities, popular words/phrases/trending terms continue to drive much activity; although Apple Special Event viewers seem less inclined to search Pornhub when Pornhub content is featured than usual.
