Girl Do Porn, the now-defunct website which forced young women into appearing in sexual videos under duress, pled guilty to one charge of conspiring to traffic in sexual services. Matthew Wolfe, 40, worked alongside co-owner Michael Pratt to recruit girls aged 18 or under under false pretenses to appear in videos shot on location; these girls performed oral sex or penetration for payment – some victims even required to drink alcohol or smoke marijuana prior to filming beginning; he forced models to lie about their age and occupation so as to avoid legal ramifications.
Doe 15 testified that her adult video shoot was prolonged beyond what had been expected, leaving her feeling pressured by Garcia and Gyi to continue filming. According to Doe 15, their camera and recording equipment prevented her from leaving the hotel room where the shoot took place, making her powerless over her life. Furthermore, Doe said she was required to undergo both blood alcohol and drug tests prior to beginning production of the video shoot.
Theodore Wilfred Gyi, 38, worked as a cameraman for Girls Do Porn and its offshoot Girls Do Toys. During his plea hearing for conspiracy to commit sex trafficking, Gyi testified that Wolfe and Pratt instructed him to tell girls their videos wouldn’t be uploaded online or widely distributed publicly – only later becoming aware that they were widely disseminated on other sites. Gyi was ordered to pay $100,000 as restitution to two victims in this case.
